Artistic research on the concept Umwelt.

Each species constructs and lives in its own environment. There is a big difference between objects and things. A thing is something that is separate from the question of whether or not it is known. And an object requires a relationship to an organism that knows about it. A thing that is not known is not an object. The term Umwelt </ em> was introduced around 1920 by the Baltic German biologist Von Uexküll, who described it as ‘the perceptual world in which an organism lives and acts as a subject’.

Through interventions in our relation to everyday objects, I want to investigate this concept.
